In Loving Memory of Portia Bunny

You came into Daddy's life, abused, distressed and afraid.
You loved your daddy but bickered with him whenever he tried to play.
When you became a young lady, you and Daddy saw each other thru different eyes.
Both realized with great love and joy, and with great surprise!
That this bunny, a beautiful gray pearl, had grown to be Daddy’s little girl.
You brought tears to Daddy’s eyes when you greeted him with happiness,
Running to meet him when he came in thru the door.
You would do binkies only for Daddy, and run very fast and twirl.
You would snuggle close to Daddy and share the joy of being his little girl.
Daddy’s eyes still fill with tears when he comes home each night.
Sadly there is something missing, someone is missing from his sight.
There is a love missing from his life. Someone has gone away.
Who was the love taken from his life, the one who filled his world?
The love taken from his life was Daddy’s Little Girl.
