 Best Known For:

Mr. Cary Grant knew how to turn on the charm to get treats. Sometimes he would refuse to eat any greens or pellets and only wanted dried fruit treats, yogurt drops, and bananas. It took awhile to get him to eat healthier greens.
He had a very discerning palette. Dill and Cilantro would not do, dandelion greens were preferred.
Mom purchased a lovely leaf-shaped dish for his greens and he decided it was better as a throw toy. Mom took it out of his pen and when he would get out he would look for the dish to toss it around.
Mr. Grant was quite the ladies bun. He would tag along to Mom's staff meetings and hop out of his purse-style carrier onto the shoulder of a colleague. He would then smother her with kisses.
He knew he was a movie star and expected to be treated as such. He insisted on adoration from his fans. He demanded respect from his housemates, two cats, Tycho and Asia. Although Tycho was more than twenty pounds to Mr. Grant's two pounds, Mr. Grant would chase Tycho around to show who was boss.
He was known as the international bun of mystery because of all his adventures going to different parks and the fact that some how he managed not only to pull up google on the computer but do a successful search for a fighter plane.
Even though he could be quite demanding, he gave back to his community. He had established an information booth at the local farmer's market to help raise awareness of the underprivileged bunnies in his area. He endured a great deal of petting, poking, and a barrage of curious children. This was done with grace and humility without scratching or biting. Mom was thinking of biting the child who tried to tie his ears together.
He also made appearances in classrooms to educate future bunny owners on the proper care of house rabbits.
Mr. Grant lived a too short life, but he lived fully and brought love and joy to those who knew him. He gave so much love even on his last day when he was in pain.

If You Could Read His Mind:

"He would hope that one day soon all bunnies in sanctuaries and foster homes would find loving forever-homes and that rabbit neglect and abuse would stop so that no bunnies would need sanctuary any more. He was happy in his forever-home."
In late February 2006, Mr. Cary Grant developed two blockages in his digestive system and underwent exploratory surgery. Athough he fought hard, it was too much for his little body to endure. His family will honor his memory by continuing his work to help the bunnies that are less fortunate.
