Peanut is an interesting little
bun.The folks at the rabbit adoption place called Peanut Einstein
Bunny after they came to the house and saw his daily routine.
He has the run of the whole two story house and is not caged. He
doesn't damage anything in the house (wires are ALL hidden where
he can not get to them) and enjoys following Mom and Dad from room
to room. He responds to about a half dozen words and phrases such
as up, down, come daddie, come mommie,
deliver the mail (that involves grabbing the mail out of
your hand and then tossing it around) just to name a few. If he
starts anything you disapprove of a quick, Hey, no funny bunny!
gets him to stop. |
 |
Peanut's family tried to get him a mate thru
a rabbit adoption agency, but he just was not interested. He prefers
the company of Mom and Dad. |
 |
His family had a spare bedroom,
so he has his own room with his cage (always left open with a ramp
so he can get in and out to his litter box) and all of his toys
are strewn around in there. He has his little card board box city
in there but would much rather sleep the night away with my Mom
and Dad and I in THEIR bed. |
 |
He keeps his nap schedule and comes and goes
around the house at his leisure. He is VERY laid back and relaxed.
His diet is a half cup of timothy pellets, lots of hay and three
servings of greens a day. |
 |
He is extremely affectionate and
is ALWAYS kissing. As you pass from one room to the next he will
often follow, when you stop and he catches up you will get another
bunny kiss. He is always ready to snuggle up with you. |
 |
He watches TV, as well as the fish
swimming in their tank. He LOVES his back deck (but only when you
are out with him). He is extremely curious about everything that
is going on in the house and is always right there with you to see
what is going on. |
 |
When he is glad to see you he purrs
by clicking his teeth. When you kiss him on the face and click your
teeth he will almost always respond with a kiss and his own tooth
clicking (a bun conversation). The same goes when you get down on
the floor and tell him, I love you Peanut, that will usually
get him talking back to you. |
 |
Reading his mind is very easy, he shows all
of his emotions on his face. |
 |
Mom and Dad spend hours with him every day.
They do not believe in the idea of a pet, so Peanut is a family
member and gets treated as such. Peanut's family really loves the
little guy and says he is more like a child than a bun. |

All of this is Peanut in a nutshell. |
